python-avogadro software package provides Molecular Graphics and Modelling System (Python module), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-avogadro
python-avogadro is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-avogadro package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-avogadro *
You will get with python-avogadro package name, version, architecture and description in a table
